Program Overview
The COVID-19 Pandemic has been an emerging and ongoing situation affecting many individuals around the world, resulting in extraordinary measures to prevent and contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus (SARS-CoV-2). With an emphasis on preventing the spread of COVID-19, there has been an increase use of harmful chemicals that can lead to adverse health effects. The WSPEHSU has created material that are in line with CDC guidance, to guide and make clear the ways to disinfect more safely. This material reflects the current knowledge/state of the pandemic and highlights EPA’s new page that can be used to search for safer disinfectants.
